Happy Monday everyone!
Today has been all kinds of crazy and it is only 2:00 pm. It all started with a bright and early wake up call and an anthropology test at 8:00 am. I could think of better ways to start the week, but such is life. If you follow me on twitter, you know this test is all that his been on my mind for the last 2 weeks. Luckily I didn’t find it to challenging so hopefully all of my hard work is going to pay off.
This weekend was pretty low key for me. A trip to Costco, work and studying was about all I did. I found myself craving Thai soup Sunday night and luck would have it that there was a place still open in town. So freaking delicious.
So spicy, So yummy.
This weekend was a semi-success on the weight loss and mindful eating front. The only reason that I say semi-success is this Costco sized bag of dino-sours that haunt me. Never shop at Costco when your hungry, and certainly don’t go to the candy isle last. At 130 (empty) calories for just 7 of these little suckers they are not worth it. I didn’t have time to weigh in this morning, so hopefully I will have a loss for you guys tomorrow.
One of the most important things I have noticed over the last week is how well I do with consistency. I try and eat a similar breakfast, a similar lunch and similar dinners. Not everything I eat is exactly the same but finding the right ratio of carbs/fat/protein helps keep me full and avoid the snack monster. I can’t wait for summer to be here and the farmers market to be in full swing. There is nothing better then fresh local produce just a short drive away.
