Backpacking.
Sight seeing.
Whatever you call it, I want to be doing it. I am talking travel. There is this unrelenting desire to cart myself all over the world and honestly I am going to do whatever it takes to make it happen. I want to swim in every ocean and explore every inch of land I can. It sounds really corny but I honestly can’t help it. There is nothing I want to do more. I already have quite a few trips planned but there are still few places I am getting eager to book. The experience is worth way more then the money to me, so if I have to suck it up and be a poor travelling student I am more than happy to do that.
So far I have Seattle, Cuba, Florida (x2) and Africa booked and payed for. Yeah. Woah. Ladies and Gents that is just the tip of my travel iceberg. The very tippy tip tip. Here is where I hope to be in the next few years.
1- Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. – Oh baby baby. I have always wanted to go to Vietnam. I don’t know what it is that attracts me to the mystery of Vietnam but I want nothing more than to spend a lazy summer traveling up and down each coast. It is the next big place I want to go. I love Asian and SE Asian culture so I have a feeling it will be hard to leave these lovely places behind. Although I will always have an excuse to visit again.
2- Hawaii – Even thought Hawaii is part of the USA it has always seemed like a very foreign destination to me. Hawaii is a purely hedonistic choice. I want to find a hostel and just bum around the island for a few weeks. No agenda and no concerns. Just the sand and surf to keep me company (unless someone else wants to come). Nothing sounds better to me than a few weeks on a beach.
3- Singapore- Do ya’ll know of Anthony Bourdain. He has this little show called The Layover where he spends 24-48 hours in a city and shows you where to eat and what to enjoy. I recently caught the episode about Singapore and fell in love with the city. It has now made my must go to place list and I can’t wait to enjoy this city. From its’ food to the people it looks like one hell of a place.
These are just the three places currently on my mind. My want list is a mile long and one day I will get to all of these places. The goal is to filly my passport with stamps before it expires, and so far I am well on my way. What is your ultimate travel destination?

Not a bad bucket list so far. The problem, and I use the term very lightly, is that once you start it is hard to stop. You will find yourself constantly regaled with tales of magical destinations and incredible experiences by others who share your enthusiasm. Once you enter the rabbit hole it can be hard to get back out.. (and I am very much in that hole!)
Happy travels.
I am quickly coming to understand this! What is your favorite place you have been?
So hard to pick one place! But Vietnam is lovely, you’ll have a great time there. I also really enjoyed Peru – guess you’ll just have to go and see how they sit with you.
